Calathea Lutea is a plant that often found in Indonesia. usually only used as an exterior because it has wide leaf shape and strong stem structure. If further investigated, the strength of structure potential to be material for interior parts. The research aims find best method utilizing stems, especially when sheets elements. stems are processed through various methods most suitable method. Before experiment, will dried, carried out three ways: laminating, weaving, spinning. results processing subjected several tests, such strength, resilience, flexibility. part one uses least amount adhesive passed tests out. It hoped can substitute structural or visual element replace other materials
